Laurie J. Tange

Laurie is a tenacious advocate who intelligently and insightfully pursues the best results her client’s can achieve. Having raised three children with a spouse in the active military, Laurie learned how to respond to a crisis calmly and rationally at an early age. Her ability to maintain her composure during trial and negotiations have served the thousands of misdemeanor and felony clients Laurie has represented well. Her travels also reinforced her belief that each person is unique, and she tailors her approach to each case to fit that client’s individual needs. She is dedicated to assisting her clients in not only reaching the best resolution, but also in helping them understand the process they are undergoing.

Laurie has assisted hundreds of clients in choosing the right estate planning tool for them. Whether it is a will, trust, advanced directives for healthcare (living wills), or durable powers of attorney Laurie helps clients determine how to plan for the disposition of their estate. Laurie’s calm demeanor and kind guidance has also helped many families navigate the difficult waters of probate after the death of a loved one.

Laurie uses her skill as a bankruptcy practitioner to help clients obtain a fresh start and come to a lasting resolution with their debt situation. Laurie understands that debt can be overwhelming and finds satisfaction in helping her clients restore order and calm into their lives after the chaotic storm of crushing debt.

After traveling the World, Laurie returned home to Allegan where she currently resides with her cat Pickles. She enjoys traveling, history and is an excellent cook.
